Directors
Kelly Norman
Owner and Artistic Director
Kelly has over 25 years of extensive dance training in jazz, ballet, lyrical
and tap. She studied under Jimmie Ruth White for over fifteen years and
was a member of the Spotlight Dance Company. Kelly was a member of the Bishop
Dunne High School Eyalettes where she served as Captain her junior and senior
year. She has choreographed and performed for dance tours and performances
throughout the United States and was a member of the Dance Energy Repertory
Dance Company. Kelly is a graduate of Texas Womans University, where she
received her BS in Dance Education and Sociology. She is a head instructor,
jazz/hip hop staff captain, choreographer, clinician, and judge for the
American Dance Drill Team School where she has been on staff for the past
fourteen years. Kelly is well known for her innovative and visual choreography
in jazz, lyrical and pom. She has previously been on faculty at Spotlight
Dance Studio, Lisas Dance Center, and Miss Billyes School of Dance, where
she has taught competitive jazz, lyrical, ballet and drill team. Kelly has
been successfully training dancers for high school drill teams, college
dance programs, and professional dance teams since she was 21 years old.
This is Kellys twelth year as the Owner and Artistic Director for Plano
Dance Force, which has won multiple National Championships. She was also
featured in four instructional dance videos with JRS Video Productions.
Kelly is a native of Dallas and currently lives in Arlington with her husband
Mark, and two sons Chase and Grayson.
Ashley Hill
Directors Assistant/Assistant Choreographer
Ashley
has been dancing since she was five years old at Miss Billyes School of
Dance in Plano. She has extensive training in jazz, ballet, tap, and modern
dance. Ashley is a former Vines Vikette and was a member of Plano Dance
Force where she was a dance leader her junior year and head dancer her senior
year. She is currently on staff at Miss Billyes where she has been directing
the award winning Dancin Divas junior dance/drill team for the past three
years. Ashley is well known for her award winning modern choreography. Her
dances have won numerous national dance titles over the past two years.
Ashley also attends Collin County Community College where she is a business
major.
Spruce Haley
Performance Coordinator
Spruce
started out as being a booster club officer for Plano Dance Force when her
two daughters were on the team. She then continued on making the annual
scrapbook, taking pictures, video taping the performances, sewing costumes,
and helping the director schedule their yearly performances long after her
girls had gone off the college. Spruce has become a vital part of the organization
over the past 8 years and is a great liaison between the parents and the
director. She also works full time at the PISD Administration Building where
she has been for eight years.
